Similar problem here.

I thought that it would be a problem with my local installation only, but I 
see about the same happening on an turion64x2 notebook using a D-link (Ralink 
63) wireless USB stick. It seems to happen on one network only though, not on 
others. Router is a Prestige 6000, so all totally different hardware than 
yours.
