In 10.3 I am trying to chase down what is causing the an automatic
shutdown in 10.3. It happened after I was trying to configure
compiz-fusion. Compiz seemed to configure fine and the compiz icon
showed up in the task bar. Though I still don't know how to get the cube
working.
Anyway, the shutdown happened when I was away from the computer, so I
don't know if a dialog was displayed. The logs show a clean shutdown:

What I can't tell (because I just don't know) whether the shutdown was
caused by gconfd or smartd or if it was related to either. So, does
anyone see anything suspicious in the log entries, or am I barking up
the wrong tree? All thoughts and advise will be greatly appreciated.
