I had to tell SAX to use the i810 driver instead of the intel driver while in init 3 (sax2 -r -m 0=i810). Unfortunately, I lost my 3d while doing it. But IIRC I had that same problem in 10.2 due to the monitors being different sizes 1280x800 and 1024x768
