After the latest security update all my http requests time out (10.2). I have a working internet connection, since mail and ssh work perfectly. It is not related to the firewall ( stopping the firewall makes no difference) and it is not related to the browser, because it happens in Firefox, Opera, Konqueror and also in Yast online update.
