As it says here http://en.opensuse.org/Compiz_Fusion :

touch $HOME/.config/compiz/disable-compiz (to disable Compiz at startup)
rm $HOME/.config/compiz/disable-compiz (to enable Compiz to autostart on login)

You can also change to 2D after login using fusion-icon and selecting
another "window manager"

That simple :)
