Ahah!, That's exactly where those little campers should be. I chased
them all over the desktop before the jumped back in their boat.

Seriously though, how does your startup script square with the openSuSE
statement:

"Note: Compiz is enabled by default if you installed compiz-manager
package. Do not set up any other autostart scripts."

I see your logic, and I did try your script, but still ended up having
to run fusion-icon to get compiz fully started. See my next to last post
"[opensuse] No Autostart of Compiz; compiz-manager installed" I have
modified compiz-manager slightly and I'm off to test and I'll report back.
