I've got 8.40 now, but it's apparently the same. I 've never got a good XGL Desktop. It appears a "different" desktop, with shadows around windows, cairo clock I use is not rounded with the black square if not 3D activated... but only that. Beryl or Aquamarine is imposible to work... or Beryl is not possible to run with ati propietary driver?? As you see, the mess I have is really great! I admit! There's no way at all.
