Look in 'man wodim' for a description of burnfree... It normally should be disabled... This maybe a K3b quirk, I would personally suggest using growisofs where one can set the speed directly... I would use wodim to find out what the drive is reporting it can do with... wodim -prcap dev=<device name> it may be that the device is reporting something different - -- ============================================================================== I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
