[opensuse] restoring window decorations after xgl removed

I tried XGL on my opensuse 10.3 system.  with an Nvidia card
Looked OK, after enabling some plugins and restarting my session, my X 
session restarted, briefly displayed my desktop, and then went to a 
blank screen with an X

I decided to remove XGL - not a simple thing.   I have my system almost 
back to normal, but I have no windows decorations,  I use kde - how do I 
turn on the standard kde window decorations?
