Hello:

All this is true but my question was how konqueror/krusader
finds out that what is the file's type. An example: How
konqueror knows that .jpg should be opened by an image
viewer and not by a text editor? When I set the associations I
set the application depending on the extension. Or do I
misunderstand something?

Thanks,
IG
