I have been unable to identify and load the correct Nvidia drivers -
hence no 3D support. I have tried several different drivers and have
also tried the following 'hint' obtained from sax2
"3D Hardware acceleration is not used. To use 3D Hardware acceleration
please specify the entry Driver "nvidia" in the Section "Device" of
your /etc/X11/xorg.conf." This change made no difference.
Environment: OpenSuse 10.3, X86_64. YAST2 is configured to
install/update the drivers from ftp://download.nvidia.com/opensuse/10.3.
I have tried every available driver for the X86_64 environment.
With Opensuse 10.2 the Nvidia drivers loaded correctly, however, this
has been a new problem ever since I upgraded to 10.3.
Any pointers would be appreciated.
