It might be the bug https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=333815. It should work after you install the OpenOffice_org-kde package. If it does not help, please report a bug. As a workaround, you might try to enable the check box "Tools/Options.../OpenOffice.org/General/Use OpenOffice.org dialogs".
