Hi all,

I am trying to get hylafax running on a new (almost) system with Intel
Q965 mobo. It has an external faxmodem attached to serial port.
If I run faxaddmodem, it is not able to probe the modem for suitable
speed, and reports that the modem does not answer.
If I do "echo ATDTphonenumber > /dev/ttyS0" the modem dials, so I have the
correct port (I think).

On my own system (still 9.2) with a 850 chipset it works ok.

If I compare the systems i see:

working:
mail:/home/ldb # lsdev
Device DMA IRQ I/O Ports

mail:/home/ldb #

on the not working system the "4" in the line serial is missing. Guess
this has to do with my troubles.
How do I get a IRQ assigned to the port?
BTW: it is 10.2

TIA
