I read it again and I have a doubt.

evaluating root partition

empty box
check show all partitions
select openSUSE 10.2 /dev/hdc3 i386 linux native (ext3) /

click next

So, I assume the root partition is /dev/hdc3.

Box with the following message:
*The partition /dev/hda4 could not be mounted
mount: you must specify filesystem type
if you are sure that the partition is not needed by the installation
click on continue

However, the message refers to /dev/hda4. What is /dev/hda4?

I got a similar message for my encrypted partition, which is data and not needed by the system (for install, anyway), so I told it to ignore and go ahead. I reactivated it later.
