There are several sources in the US for a computer without any os on it. I'm
sending this from a Fries computer which went for around $200, complete, but
no os. It even came with a keyboard and a mouse. I have SuSE 9.3 on it,
which I bought when it was no longer the current version for something like
$5.00. (I had SuSE 10.0 on it, but there was something verkochte with KMail,
so I went back a version.)
