I have an HP dv8000t with OpenSUSE 10.3 on it - Everything is working properly except for the hardware volume controls. I changed the volume control in the task bar to manage the PCM rather than the Master for the ALSA Mixer - this works fine. Using the hardware buttons, even though they display the volume going up and down, do not appear to control the right thing. Is there a way I can tie the physical volume buttons to the PCM control rather than the Master?
