It was a start.
But i cant find anything about disabling hald there. :(
Seems like alot of ppl have problems on both newer and older boards with the 
hald freezing at boot.
But i have seen nothing on how to disable it (unless the system is allready 
installed, and thus can be removed/inhibited)
But nowhere have i found out how to disable it at install time.
