Do you mean that pulse is not allowed on ANY band? Per FCC rules
(97.305 Authorized emission types), pulse is allowed on all bands from
33cm band (902 MHz) and up EXCEPT on 23cm and 3cm bands. See
http://www.arrl.org/FandES/field/regulations/news/part97/onepage.html
for details...or if you want it straight from the FCC see
http://frwebgate2.access.gpo.gov/cgi-bin/waisgate.cgi?WAISdocID=633241383087+
12+0+0&WAISaction=retrieve

/snip/

The site that starts "http://frwebgate"; opens a window, but nothing appears in
it. It is all on one line in the original posting. Running KDE and KMail on
9.3.

Also, in attempting to get it to play, I snapped on something that produces a
big blue down-pointing arrow, which I don't know what it is for, or if it is
useless, how to get rid of it. It may be something called KGet. What's that?
There does not seem to be a help file for it.

TIA--doug
