There is a problem with certain 64 bit machines in how hwclock works if
your running 64bit Linux.  I have a dv6125 and I use the hwclock from the
32 bit release.  There is an open bug report.  It turns out that the
hwclock (32) looks at the rtc differently than hwclock(64).
