Well, I guess I don't have the lame encoder. I have the one that gets
installed with the normal 10.3 codecs. In any case, when trying to rip
into mp3, when I type in a genre it won't encode. If I select a genre
from the list it will encode. Same on 3 different CDs.

This does not happen if I encode with flac or ogg. In both case I type
in "Christmas" and both encode with no problems or errors.

How can I do the same thing but directly encode into mp3? I guess I
could re-tag the stuff, but with many CDs that seem a pain.

Many thanks,
