Nope, but you can do it two ways:
1. Edit /etc/inittab and change the default init to 3, or
2. Start yast2 change in System/sysconfig-Editor/Desktop/Display
manager/DISPLAYMANAGER the entry from kdm/gdm to console. Thus you will
stay in init 5 but kdm/gdm wont start.
