R. > Yast downloads rpm to its cache (I found it once ) installs and then deletes the damn thing, which might have been say open office devel at 227Mb. I have downloaded the sources and maybe if someone can point me to the name of the point of deletion routine I can change that. In fact I think it might make a valuable addition to yast.
