Hi Greg,
I just gave Youtube a shot and everything worked normally. You might
try uninstalling and reinstalling to see if that clears things up. I've
got a pretty standard 10.3 installation so the only things installed
are what comes right from the DVD. When I installed FF3 I used the one
click install method from the OpenSUSE Build site.
