network.protocol-handler.app.http shows. If it is missing, add it and set it to the desired browser which in my case is /usr/bin/firefox. The 'official' way doesn't seem to work but this worked for me. Also, do one for https also if you ever use that type of a URL. One of the updates to firefox seems to have broken the one that used to work requiring this 'patch'.
