Why? Sometimes that is the best method to get someone's attention and cooperation. It worked for Al Capone in Chicago. It might even work on programmers. I would expect cultural differences on a world-wide forum such as this one. I would also think that the other members would be able to grasp those differences, respect them for what they are and ignore any that offend. But maybe I expect too much.
