Hi, I downloaded OpenSuSe 10.3 about 48 hours ago, and have been
spending most of that time configuring my new OS, when not sleeping.
I have been having several problems with this process, but I'm a big
boy and I like to solve things on my own. However, one problem
started recently (about 18 hours ago), and I'm not sure if it's my
fault or your fault. When I try to get new software from the
repositories in Yast, I can't connect. I've been getting a mixed bag
of 403 and 404 errors. As I recall 403 means that I'm forbidden
access, and 404 means the information requested simply is not there.
403s are usually my fault because I snooping where I shouldn't be, and
404s are generally someone else's fault. So which one is it? Has my
IP been banned from the OpenSuSE repositories? Do you not like me?
Do I smell funny? I really like this distro, and you know I can
change, I promise. I'll stop looking at other operating systems,
Iswear. Just let me download another repository, just one, to get me
through the night.

All kidding aside, I would kinda like to see something done about
this, because I'm still missing a lot of pretty basic stuff.
