Russ, this has happened to me as well. I think it's a "feature" in late suse and kde. If it is the same issue as mine, it is not an html issue, the email just shows blank!!!!!! The following workarounds worked out eventually. 1. try to move it to another folder. 2. If you still can't read it, delete it and try to open it in the trash folder.
