Actually, I've been asked to participate at
Javaranch this year to speak or just show up - I really have no idea at this
point. My publisher said they are promoting authors there. I was
wondering if anyone heard good or bad things about it? I went to the
website and it seems sort of corny and for beginners. It's also weird
since I wrote 3 books on PHP - nothing on Java. The only thing I can see
myself talking about a specific topic on Web Services, XML or generic
software design. I was just curious if you guys thought it was a waste of
time or not.
