Oh yes... We're working on a major project using Commerce Suite 4. The funniest thing is actually the little secret tools that IBM uses internally to make everything work (sorta') decently. The official tools don't really do what they are supposed to, of course.
BTW, has anyone ever worked on a project using IBM WS Commerce Suite and WebWork? I'd be interested to see examples and use-cases of integrating webwork actions with Commerce Suite commands. We might have a project coming up doing just that... > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: den 18 december 2002 14:03 > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: RE: [OS-webwork] Websphere portal server to Webwork, help > please ! > > > Are portal servers just a marketing tool or are they actually useful? > > Can anybody explain the typical featureset of a portal server? > > On my last project I had to use Websphere Commerce Suite by IBM and if > you've not seen that think of 250+ fine grained entity beans all deployed > in one jar. > > On Wed, 18 Dec 2002, Måns af Klercker wrote: > > > Hi Joel! > > > > The founder of WebWork, XDoclet and some other cool OSS, > Rickard =D6berg, > > works at a company selling a product based on the mentioned > Portlet API.
