Well I just tried to take a look at Tapestry and I see when building it from the CVS tree that is it tied to EJB jars. WTF? I fail to understand why a Web App framework needs to be tied to EJBs.

This is a classic example of a feature rich tutorial that's much too complex to get the message across. KISS is not just the name for a Rock Band.

It doesn't even try to build the documentation first so that I can read it. It craps out on javax.ejb.CreateException before it even tries to build any of the docs.

Mistake.

I should not have the build the framework itself in order to read the documentation
