I'm not sure how the XWork dispatcher architecture will work (and there
seems to be just a little bit of discussion about this ;-) ) but
basically I just want what is there now.

In summary we need the capability to do the following:

a) Run a WW action
b) Map it to a jasper reports view. The proposed functionality allows 2
parameters to the view (in addition to the location of the report file):
  1. The name of the action property to use for the report data
  2. The type of output expected (PDF, XLS, CSV, HTML etc)
c) Use the value stack and the report definition to run the report using
the Jasper code
d) Stream the results back to the client

At present d) is web only but this could conceivably be extended for
other contexts.

c) at present uses a dispatcher servlet.

Is this very far from what is being envisaged for XWork ?
