Sorry, I did not intend it to be for 1.3. With 1.3 at RC2, I wouldn't expect new features to be added. I should have been clearer, "some upcoming 1.x release" should have read "some upcoming >1.3 release (I'm assuming there will be)".
If there will be such a release, would it still be useful for me to submit what I have? I can certainly do that if you'd like.
