I could see this being a related project... An Xwork interceptor which checks the current action being executed + configuration for which action equals which navigation item + a navigation model which is built and stuck into the request by the interceptor with current state and possibly based on information stored in a session object for a click-stream history, etc.... Maybe this even belongs in WW2 as an optional feature? This could also enable cool things like click-stream analysis, referer logging, etc...
