Yes, i did try without quotes but the problem is that without quotes it doesn't even work without SiteMesh (I guess because OGNL needs to know that it is a string literal).

Hi Daniel, Have you tried the tags without the single quotes like this: <%@ taglib uri="webwork" prefix="ww" %> <html> <head> <title>Webwork 2 Demo</title> </head> <body> <p><b>Webwork 2 - Demo 5 Big and compleeeete example!!</b></p> <ww:form action="demo5Step1.action"> <ww:textfield label="Skriv ett meddelande" name="message" /> <ww:submit value="Skicka"/> </ww:form> </body> </html> I've been using WW2 with SiteMesh on a new project and this is what works for us. If this doesn't work for you, hopefully someone else who's been using the two together can chime in. I hope this helps, Peter > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On > Behalf Of Daniel Pfeifer > Sent: Tuesday, November 04, 2003 5:21 AM > To: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' > Subject: [OS-webwork] SiteMesh + Webwork 2? > > Hi, > > does someone know why following code doesn't render correctly > when SiteMesh is involved? > > <%@ taglib uri="webwork" prefix="ww" %> > <html> > <head> > <title>Webwork 2 Demo</title> > </head> > <body> > <p><b>Webwork 2 - Demo 5 Big and compleeeete > example!!</b></p> <ww:form action="'demo5Step1.action'"> > <ww:textfield label="'Skriv ett meddelande'" name="message" /> > <ww:submit value="'Skicka'"/> > </ww:form> > </body> > </html> > > Everything is rendered except "action='demo5Step1.action'", > the label, the input-text name, basically anything that goes > thru velocity and the valuestack. > > Except that SiteMesh adds the decorators (basically just some > lines of text) correctly. > > *confused* > > /Daniel > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program. > Does SourceForge.net help you be more productive?
