Presumably there are two working ways. The first is by placing a vm file in /template/xhtml, the second is by pointing out an own template via the template parameter.

Like [webapp]/template/xhtml/select.vm /Mathias. -----Original Message----- From: Patrick Lightbody [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: den 13 november 2003 04:46 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [OS-webwork] overriding select ui tag <ww:select template="myselect.vm"/> should do the trick. -Pat -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Paul Knepper Sent: Tuesday, November 11, 2003 1:41 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [OS-webwork] overriding select ui tag Hi, I'd like to override the way the WebWork2 select ui tag displays. I see that the templates\xhtml\select.vm is used to display the tag. Can I override this and use my own .vm file? The following url has information that states, "the default template can be overridden on a per tag basis allowing for a very fine level of control", but it doesn't tell how or I don't understand how. http://wiki.opensymphony.com/space/WebWork+2+UI+Tag+Guide Thanks, Paul ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: ApacheCon 2003, 16-19 November in Las Vegas.
