I will check with our sales guys. Shipping to Poland or somewhere else
in the EU should not be much of a problem. They will get back to you.

Well, we thought about that and had to realise that if we compile
a list of models that work then we would never even come close
to a complete list, wouldn't you agree? And an incomplete list
would lead to the probably wrong conclusion that the system in
question is not supported or working.

I would rather classify compatible systems as consisting of:
- x86 hardware that has
- standard PC BIOS,
- Intel, AMD, VIA, Transmeta or compatible CPU
- 128 MB RAM or more
- PXE support (i.e. NIC with BIOS)
- supported VGA (x.org compatible)

Pretty much else is optional.

Many of our own clients at the moment have:
- VIA CPU 1000 - 1500 MHz,
- 256 MB - 1 GB RAM,
- VIA chip set,
- Realtek or VIA NIC.

With "standard PC BIOS" I mean that it must not have a special
firmware that does nothing else but initialize the hardware and
boot some OS from some kind of flash or something like that. (Some
WinCE clients fall into that category.)

Most thin clients on the market today are ok, most standard PCs
should also work (if not too old and weak and also not too new
so that hardware is supported in linux).

If from one hardware manufacturer the same model is also available
as Linux variant, then most probably it would work with OTC, even
if you have the windows model.

Hmmm, the boot server is not that demanding. Add about half a GB of
RAM to what the server would need without it so that the files can
be cached easily. CPU power is not that important, P4 and up would
be perfect. Some free space on the HDD to install it and accomodate
updates and user home dirs, I would say 10 GB should suffice a long
time.
