Is that the only installed version or is there some other version still hanging around? Maybe setting the java executable and some JAVA env variables manually in the startup script might help. Or just for narrowing it down, read the script and try to determine why it does not find the correct JRE on your system. > But i also tried it on my vista machine and it installed fine.
