hi joyrex, first of all the number of clients per environment (and therefore per server) depends mainly on your server hardware and infrastructure. that is network, CPU and I/O performance.
to get an idea of the requirements for 10,000 clients: imagine an active directory or other LDAP server handling 10,000 user accounts and serving 10,000 network shared user homes. scalability and large enterprise environments are one of our challenging goals to v1.0.0 but this is not top priority for the next releases. anyway i am aware of companies serving hundreds (not thousands) of clients by a single standard PC. martin Lance Pearce schrieb: > Hello, I'm toying around with openthinclient and loving it so far.
