Hi,
Great thinclient frontend!
OK - Initial install on Centos 5.2, added JRE6 - added JAVA_HOME var and
modified path so JRE6 is the first java to be found in a PATH search.
Install went fine, CHMOD 744 start-server.sh and run.sh - started server OK,
connected to existing realm - added a mac reservation to my dhcp server with
file name of pxelinux.0 and next server pointing at the OPenthinclient Centos
box, client was discovered, I added it to Thin Client group and boots fine.
Issues:
The Package Management tree - from the right hand pane (or from the left hand
pane), I have no right click context or menu's in any of the 5 items under
Package Management, and each submenu expand display's "Can't display directory
object:null" - I know I took all the options when installed and Packages was
one of them, but I have none installed and can not add any? Is this a
permissions issue in the file structure on the server? Any help or pointers
would be appreciated.
Second one - not sure if this is related. I can not create a new Realm, all the
boxes are greyed out on Step 1 or 6 in the Realm create "Wizard with the
exception of the server IP and the password field.
I'll keep reading the docs and trolling the lists ... any pointers would be
appreciated.
