Hi ppl!

We have some new thin clients - t5735 - form HP.

http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en/sm/WF05a/12454-12454-321959-338927-89307-3634729.html

The graphics card is an ATI Radeon X1250 as per HP manual and has the
ven/dev of 1002:791f.

Well, now the bad news: The card is not regognized, neither by the open
source nor the propetary ati driver as a supported chip. The xorg.log shows
the driver is listing the supported vendev's and finally stats: No supported
chip found.

Is it possible, to force the driver to accept the vendev as a valid card and
simply see if it's works/crashes??? As far as i believe to know, the
vendev's are hardcoded in the xorg driver?

And please, don't reply by a mail containing the phrase VESA ;) VESA works
but sux beyond 1280x1024!

thx
-jolt
