I have got exactly the same problem, I'm running OTC on a VMWare WS2K3 server, it worked just fine, but at the end of the day, I powered down the VM machine and the next day I just couldn't connect to the realm. Just the same message as Rob had; can’t load realm: can’t init directory
I searched the internet to solve the problem but I couldn't find anything.
