Hello Mr. Weigt,
yes, it is possible to run two or more openthinclient servers in the
network.
You can e.g. copy the apacheds-store (note: first stop the
openthinclient service) from
one to another openthinclient server.
The server, which is first answering the request from the client with
boot-file and so on,
is the "allotted" server for this session.
This is an easy way to backup the solution.
Note: This is only running, if you are working with
Client-home-directories in RAM, not NFS.

Hallo,
can i have two openthinclient-server run in the network ?
The first one is the main server and the second one is the
backup server, if the main server fails.
The configuration of the backup server is updated per rsync
from the main server.
Does that work ?
How the clients are know from which server they have to boot if
both servers are running?
