Hi!

I still experience problems with the resolution of widescreen monitors
(1680 x 1050).

Technical Data of my Monitor are as follows:

Dimensions and weight (LCD monitor)

Visible diagonals: 55.87 cm ( 22 ''wide)

Screen size : 473.76mm x 296.1mm

Dimensions (W x H x D) incl. monitor base : 511mm x 409.5mm x 202mm

Dimensions box (W x H x D): 555mm x 437mm x 188mm

Weight : 5.2kg / 6.5kg

Dot pitch : 0.282 mm

Maximal resolution : 1680 x 1050 pixels

Electrical data

Video: analogue, positive, 0.7 Vpp, 75 Ohm,

Synchronisation : Separate H/V-sync

Horizontal frequency: 31.5 kHz ~83 kHz

Refresh rate: 56 Hz ~ 76 Hz

Maximum pixel rate: 165 MHz

Power supply: AC 100~240V, 50~60Hz

Total power consumption: < 35 W

< 0.3 W (standby)

Preset operating modes

The picture position and size have been set set to optimum values at the
factory for the

operating modes listed above.

Display resolution = 1680 x 1050

Refresh rate = 60Hz

Horizontal frequency = 65.3kHz

I tried to calculate a modline at
http://xtiming.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/xtiming.pl with negativ results.

How is a modline supposed to look like that should work with my monitor?
Could somebody post the exact syntax. Are there any settings to be
configured in OTC other than the modline?

Or is my problem related to a not supported graphics card or a driver
problem with OTC operating system. On older hardware i got widescreen
working with the default settings of the hardware device "Monitor:
1680x1050@75" .

In my test environment I use the Intel Q33 chipset with onboard graphics
GMA 3100.
