Thanks for that Jorn. Shall register.
Am speaking to Alexander at openthinclient about my issues. I am trying to ensure that I have done everything I need to do as far as set up is concerned, before I start sending logs over. I am worried that I am using a router to give out ip addresses via its DHCP set up. I am not sure if this is acceptable and have asked for clarification. Does anything need setting up for name resolution which has not been stated in the quick startup guide ? What do you do for the commercial installations ? Is there anything I need to check re the current network setup. At the moment I can log in but it is taking several minutes and I think I should be looking at a minute to one minute thirty seconds. If you have any thoughts then let me know. I shall do some work on this over the weekend using some of the actual client hardware so that I can get the logs I need to send Please send me your thoughts Regards Dave Sent from my iPad On 12 Oct 2011, at 23:18, Jörn Frenzel <j.fren...@openthinclient.com> wrote: > Hi Dave, > > if you want to help us writing documentation, please do not hesitate to > register under: > > http://openthinclient.orgthing that I ca > > (on the left side).
