Hi David, this sounds like you have a corruption somewhere in $HOME/.gnome2 or .gconf* . This can be caused by several reasons. Normally this error should go away when you remove the $HOME on the server (/opt/openthinclient/server/default/data/nfs/home/USERNAME-OR-MAC) after backing up the files you may need again later. But it sounds strange that you noticed this error with two different users. Is your storage OK? The internal nfs-server openthinclient uses does not need to be configured.
