Hi Jörn ,

The one inside the VM doesn't work for me because the LD_LIBRARY_PATH
isn't set, so it comes up with a GTK+ version error when you click the
launcher. This is the only reason why I'm using my own version, as I
have made the launcher execute a script which sets LD_LIBRARY_PATH first
then just runs Firefox normally. I could have used the source tarball
to create this but I used Firefox ESR instead as it gives a much smaller
image to deploy (but only includes US English, so isn't as widely useful
as the tarball).

Has the VM been updated since I downloaded it though? My sources.list
has "http://devel.openthinclient.org/firefox-17/766b938303e1e9g/";, which
is different from the one you've given below, so I'm potentially using
an out-of-date version.

I made a post on the developer mailing list about Firefox 19. I tried
it too and also found the libxul problem, so agree that 17 is the latest
Firefox that's possible with the current base.

All the best,

Mark
