Hi,

i had got the same problem, we solved it.

We updatet our OTC base to 1.0.0-17. It is a unstable Version, but everythings
works fine.

Fort he Update go to: opt/openthinclient/server/default/data/nfs/root/etc and
open sources.list

Change the following row:

# Unstable
# deb http://archive.openthinclient.org/openthinclient/v1/manager-unstable
./<http://archive.openthinclient.org/openthinclient/v1/manager-unstable%20./>

To

# Unstable
deb http://archive.openthinclient.org/openthinclient/v1/manager-unstable
./<http://archive.openthinclient.org/openthinclient/v1/manager-unstable%20./>

Update the OTC and finish.

With best regards

Nils

Betreff: [openthinclient-user] PC that worked as a client in version 0.4.5 will
not work in 1.0.0

Uses Intel 865G chipset. It was working fine on 0.4.5, but now that I've
upgraded to 1.0.0, I get the "Failed to start X server" error.

Did they remove support for some devices in the new version or is this a
configuration issue I need to take care of when adding this particular client?

Thank you.
