my experience was that java 6 was necessary. . package manager wouldnt start
unless the application was running locally. ..
in the end I created a remote xsession ( local client xserver ) on the server
running OTC and then browsed to 127.0.0.1:8080 and it all worked sweet..

I am having trouble connecting to the realm when trying to use the management
app from a workstation , is there any special requirements? When I enter the
password and click ok it doesn't take me to the second step of select realm
