Hi,
I created an application with the following line - echo 0pen%TC | sudo -S
shutdown -P -h 18:00 "Scheduled 6:00 pm shutdown".
This shuts down the thin client at 6:00 pm. It works without a problem.
I don't normally turn off my clients manually but if I do through the
shutdown dialog, they do seem to hang and I end up using the power button.
I'm still on 0.4.
(As an aside, I thought I was on 1.x but I'm guessing that when my
assistant moved the installation to another machine, he grabbed the wrong
install.)

Subversion Kills Productivity. Get off Subversion & Make the Move to Perforce.
With Perforce, you get hassle-free workflows. Merge that actually works.
Faster operations. Version large binaries. Built-in WAN optimization and the
freedom to use Git, Perforce or both. Make the move to Perforce.
