If you use base 2.0-18 there is a new feature:
in the openthinclient-manager goto "Device", rightclick, add new
Then select from the pulldown-list "persistant home on NFS" and save this
device.
Then combine it to the "Thinclient" or to the "Hardwaretype".
Reboot the client.

Now you can e.g. add bookmarks in the iceweasel, or save e.g. documents on
the client-desktop and they'll be back after reboot.
